NOTE: Experienced Operators must complete a Previous Experience Form and confirm they have had at least 15 hours Lorry Loader Crane experience in the past 12 months and must supply a copy of an Accredited ID/Certificate with an Expiry Date of no more than 6 months prior.  

If Experience Operators cannot meet these requirements then ALLMI will consider them Beginners and will be required to complete at least 2 days training. 


At Customer Premises or any other suitable site, 
Lorry Loader Training can be arranged, providing the rules laid down in Appendix 7 are met.

The training area, equipment and loads, and well as the instructor and candidates, must be entirely devoted to training and not involved with any other duties whilst training is in progress.

The equipment used for training must be in a SAFE and full WORKING ORDER, and have valid Report of Thorough Examination.  The manufacturers handbook should be available and consulted.

(and our instructor will carry out, and document, a pre-operational check of the equipment prior to the commencement of training)

The are set aside for training must be marked 'Restricted Access' and be available for the sole use of the instructor and candidates.

There shall be suitable loads available to simulate tasks appropriate to the type of work to be undertaken by the operators and the types of attachments to be used.

A room, office or other suitable accommodation shall be make available to enable the instructor to deliver the theoretical aspects of the course and assessments. The instructor can bring his own laptop and presentation material (mentioned in 5.2 of Appendix 7,terms for training).
