Truck Mounted Forklift Certificate

Drivers with a lorry licence can expand their skills and job prospects with a Truck Mounted Forklift Certificate, known as a Moffett Mounty.

The forklift is attached to the rear of their truck to help load and unload cargo.

If you already hold a forklift certificate, a conversion course is 2 days and if you already have moffet experience as well this could be reduced to 1 day.

Someone new to forklifts would need a full 3 day course and you could decide to obtain a second qualification like a counterbalance or reach forklift certificate by adding an extra couple of days.

Moffett training hours count as Driver CPC 35 hours Periodic Training Hours
