FORKLIFT, PLANT & MACHINERY TRAINING
 

The Health and Safety at Work Act requires anyone who operates machinery to be thoroughly trained and tested.

We are accredited by ITSSAR – Independent Training Standards Scheme and Register - for Industrial Certifications. And for Construction & Plant, though our associate, we offer CITB/CPCS Construction Industry Training Board/ Construction Plant Competence Scheme.

In Centre
At Wembley Training Centre we offer Industrial Counterbalance and Reach.

CPCS qualifications including Signaller Banksman, Telescopic Materials Handler, Forward Tipping Dumper Truck and 360 degree excavator training is available in Woolwich, E16.

On Site
We also provide On-Site Training and Certification, with our Instructors visiting clients using the company facilities for all types of forklifts, plant and machinery.

 
Warehouse and industrial

Industrial Reach Truck
Used in confined areas and narrow isles in warehouses

Industrial Counter Balance
Used for loading/unloading vehicles,
or inter-warehouse. This is the most popular
type of fork lift truck.
 

Construction and plant machines

Telescopic Material Handler
Used for special, high lift work, usually out door.

Available at our Wembley Training Centres where we supply all equipment and study materials, or our Instructor can provide training On-Site to acquire specialist knowledge and practice safe and correct handling to achieve either ITSSAR or CITB/CPCS qualifications.

• For working within a building site the CITB/CPCS - Construction Industry Training Board/Construction Plant Competence Scheme - certificate is required, which is usually a four day course and theory exam.
• For general use an ITSSAR - Independent Training Standards Scheme and Register - certificate meets all requirements, for which we offer a two day course for novice operators, or a one day course for anyone with previous experience with hydraulic controlled lifting or transporting equipment (i.e. forklifts or JCB)
  
 
Wembley Forklift Training Centre
 
Our facilities include: Racking, stillages and pallets, diverse loads including 1 tonne loads and unevenly distributed loads. Our ITTSAR approved test course including chicane, turning and reversing in narrow isles, practical operation on level ground and at uphill and consists of lifting loads to intermediate and high levels. Our comfortable classroom is equipped with a TV and Video where we conduct seminars covering all Heath and Safety legislation and theoretic training requirements.
A driving licence is not required for this training and it is open to anyone aged 17 and over.
