LGV C1 and PCV D1

We offer 5, 7 or 10 day courses at discounted rates for prospective Ambulance Service personnel. We can assess your training needs and advise your ideal course duration by completing a simple telephone questionnaire. Please phone our office and mention Ambulance Service to take advantage of the discounts.

 

• Our C1's - 5.5 Renault Mascot and Iveco are ideal training vehicles.

• They have hydraulic anti-lock brakes and other car-like controls and handling.

• They have compact dimensions, with excellent all round visibility, which makes negotiating driving hazards easy.
Our C1 training is conducted on a 5.5 tonne vehicle
    
     
 

• Our Minibus is has been specially selected as a training vehicle.

• It has twelve seats and a five-speed gearbox.

• It has the same benefits of our C1 vehicle with hydraulic anti-lock brakes and other car-like controls and handling, with compact dimensions, and excellent all round visibility, negotiating driving hazards becomes easier.

Generally London Ambulance Service requires people to have LGV C1 entitlement.
Other areas of the county, such as Surrey Ambulance Service and Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire Ambulance Service, require both LGV C1 and PCV D1
