ADR Class 1 Explosives

In additional to our standard ADR courses, we offer the option of adding class one explosives.

Training involves understanding:

• the definition of explosives and the classification of explosives into Divisions and Compatibility Groups
• the packaging and labeling of explosives
• the loading, unloading and carriage of explosives
• the safe and correct loading of a vehicle with various packages of explosives
• the special measures to be taken in the event of an accident of incident involving a vehicle carrying explosives.

Although this is a specialised area of work we have trained several drivers for class 1.
