Driver Training

Wallace Successful Links

Links with Employers

Since the late 1980’s, Wallace School of Transport has had a close working partnership with many of the London Transport bus companies.

As our PCV training is based in Wembley, we have developed close links with Metroline in particular.

Back in July 2003, Lee Richmond (far left) completed 24 hours training with our instructor Tom Moran (the good looking man in the middle with glasses). The examiner Steve Jones (in far right of photo) was really impressed with his driving, as Lee was his first candidate to pass without errors.

Lee was really pleased too, because at the time also visiting the driving test centre was Lyn Featherstone, who is the Chair of the Transport Committee from the Mayor of London’s office who congratulated Tom and Lee on their good work and effort.

Tom is still doing a marvellous job, and has single handedly helped hundreds of drivers achieve their aim of passing their Automatic Bus Test and gaining a secure, well paid job ‘On the Buses’.

Wallace School of Transport were pleased to assist Pearson View with the development of the introduction of Initial Driver CPC Case Study.

We were able to provide over six practice sessions, with between 5 to 10 participants in each session for Pearson’s Systems Developer to put our trainees through their paces and to trial / practice the Case Study questions before they went live in September 2009.

Many thanks to all who participated – future drivers thank you for your time and assistance.
