Driver CPC

Driver Certificate of Professional Competence – Driver CPC is now law and is designed to boost drivers knowledge and skills intitially and throughout a drivers Vocational Career.

• Anyone taking up HGV or PCV for a living need Initial Driver CPC 
• Existing licence holders must complete Driver CPC Periodic Training

On passing the Initial Driver CPC, drivers receive a Driver Qualification Card must be carried with the photocard driving licence whilst at work.

Employers won't take on a newly qualified LGV or PCV driver unless they present their Driver Qualification Card.

The DQC card is issued to other licence holders on completion of Periodic Training.
