Our JAUPT Approved RTITB Master Driver training means you can refresh your knowledge and learn about Tachographs at the same time as gaining 35 hours Periodic Training

Choose a single weekday or Saturday (or during a 35 hrs Intensive Course) at our Park Royal Centre or locally/your premises. Remember Periodic Training counts towards drivers hours

Drivers Hours & Analogue Tachograph, to understand:

• EU Regulations and who must adhere to them
• the different types of tachographs and the requirements to recording duty time
• break periods, maximum daily driving time and daily rest periods
• maximum weekly driving time and weekly rest periods
• maximum fortnightly driving time and split daily rests
• the rules regarding journeys on ferries and trains
• drivers’ responsibilities for keeping records

Digital Tachograph, understanding of:

• the regulations governing the use of digital tachographs
• the digital tachograph operating systems and vehicle unit main features
• the vehicle unit memory function and pictograms
• the different types of tachograph cards and their uses
• universal co-ordinated time (UTC)
• the log-in procedure, displays and messages
• the manual entry procedure
• the mode switch operation and menu structure
• the log-out procedure
• print outs
• manual entries on printouts and printer operating procedures
• procedures for recording & keeping when operating both digital and analogue tachographs
