LGV - C +E lorries with trailers - up to 44 tonnes

To obtain your LGV C+E licence, your examiner will allow you to use either an Articulated or Drawbar combination. All our LGV C vehicles are fitted with a Drawbar towing hitch.

Our drawbars are very easy to position, stable and comfortable and are particularly easy to reverse as they are Close-Coupled and their road wheels are positioned in the middle of the trailer.

Progress quickly from C to C+E by needing only a few hours training by using the LGV C training vehicle that you've just passed your test on and that you're already familiar with but this time using the C vehicle with a trailer attached.

Alternatively, pass your C+E with our Articulated Vehicle in Wembley. Gain experience with the characteristics of this type of trailer and after passing you will be fully conversant with driving a big rig and feel confident to seek employment as a long distance truck driver.

Please remember to allow for more training time and a larger budget if you decide to use an articulated vehicle to gain your C+E as generally more training is requried to reach test standard on an articulated vehicle than on a draw-bar. The choice is yours.

When you passed your LGV C with us, your instructor will have made training recommendations for C+E but if we haven't seen your driving before we recommend a DRIVING ASSESSMENT, when an instructor can see your driving skills and relevant driving experience and give some advice on what training you'll need to pass and we can quote you.

Articulated Vehicle Driver Familiar / Development / Refresher Lessons

If you're a newly qualified or inexperienced HGV Class 1 / LGV C+E licence holder, you may like a practice session, or a refresher lesson on our articulated vehicle. Just you and your instructor.

Practice driving our full size, box body 13.6 meter trailer and tractor unit combination that will give you confidence and you'll gain experience handling a big rig.
