B+E

B+E Trailer Towing Practice, Training and Test

If you obtained your car licence after January 1997, you will need to take trailer training and sit a DSA driving test to acquire B+E entitlement as new drivers may drive a vehicle up to 3.5 tonnes gross vehicle weight (GVW) with a 750kgs GVW trailer which may not be big enough for your purpose.

We provide B+E training for anyone wanting to tow:

  • Caravans
  • Large Camping Trailers
  • Horseboxes
  • Large Sailing boats
  • Multiple Canoes and Kayaks Trailers
  • Vintage and elite cars
  • Jet skis
  • 4 x 4 off roaders and quadbikes Trailers

We also provide B+E for company drivers who need to tow:

  • Mobile showrooms and presentation units
  • Construction - excavating and mini-diggers
  • Car and vehicle transporters
  • Recovery trailers
  • Utility Storage Containers
  • Luggage Trailers
  • Catering Trailers
  • Speciality trailers

We also deliver training for RDT - Rapid Deployment Trailers often used by breakdown and recovery service suppliers like the RAC.

Call us to find out more details. We have a full range of training options suitable for people who have lots of trailer experience and simply need to acquire test standard to pass the test through to people who will be handling a trailer for the first time.

Training Options

We provide trailer awareness and familiarisation training for anyone who has B+E entitlement but is simply looking to gain more knowledge and confidence in towing, reversing and use of towing hitches.

For B+E licence acquisition, we recommend arranging one or a few single days of training or an intensive course of training leading into test day. Take an Assessment Lesson so that one of our Instructors can give you guidance to the duration of training needed.
