ADR counts towards Driver CPC Periodic Training

The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) have approved elements of dangerous goods training to be counted towards part of the LGV Driver CPC periodic training.

  • On Initial Qualification Course - up to a maximum of 28 hours Periodic training
  • On Referesher Course - 7 or 14 hours hours Periodic training

Let us know when you make your ADR booking if you would like to take up this option.

We ask for a nominal hourly fee for each hour of training and the DSA Upload fee to qualify for this additional service.

To help you keep track of the completed Driver CPC Periodic Training, we will provide a FREE credit card size plastic wallet which can convieniently hold:

  • Course subject record card, Driving Licence, Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card

And if training is company sponsored, we will issue a certificate for each course for each driver as well as a copy of the register to update company training records.

For clients with multiple drivers to be trained, our courses can be carried out nationwide, either at clients premises providing suitable premises are available or we can source a suitable meeting room, where we can cover subjects relevant to your company’s operations.

Courses can be held for particular driver needs or single drivers can be booked into our multi-company course vacancies.

Wallace School of Transport courses and instructors are approved by the Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training (JAUPT) and are carried out through our partner K Training.

Please phone for details of training dates and costs.
